The Mission of the Parent Association is to help enrich our school experience, for both students, parents and faculty. We focus our energy in three areas:

  • build a strong school community
  • create a fun and enriching experience faculty
  • engage parents to contribute their time, talent and treasure

We do this by engaging with parents and faculty in many ways. Below are just a few of the ways we are involved in our school:

  • we actively show teacher and faculty appreciation by doing monthly “teacher treats” (sponsored by parents)
  • we host several large events throughout the year, such as Halloween Haunt, the Holiday Gala, Spring Fling and End of Year Beach Party to create memorable experiences and to raise funds to support our school.
  • we use funds raised to purchase improvements, such as musical instruments, college software, fans, water fountains, laptops, projectors, and scholarships.

In the last 3 years, the CRIA Parent Association has raised over $50,000 and every dollar has been re-invested in our school to make it stronger and better every year.

Joining the Parent Association allows you to be involved in big or small ways. This year we are asking for your support in several ways:

1) Help fund our teacher/faculty appreciation efforts, we are asking each parent to donate $10 per child. These funds will go 100% toward teacher and staff appreciation activities we do monthly and to our big end of year thank you breakfast and gifts. This is not mandatory, but anything you can donate (more or less) really helps.

2) Become a Classroom Representative. This requires only a couple hours per month but really helps share the work of coordinating and communicating with teachers.

3) Participate in fundraising events. This isn’t hard, because they’re very fun!

4) Donate, your time and yes even money. Every dollar helps us make our school and the experience we all share better.
